Making Charity Quilts (continued)

After a few days off for the holidays, I got back to this pink and brown charity quilt.

The blocks are sewn together, and now I am auditioning fabrics for the borders.

I think I want two borders: a 2-inch inner border, and either a 4-inch or 6-inch outer border.  I found a great pink and brown batik in my stash for the outer border, so now I need either brown or pink for the inner border.

What do you think?  Help me pick one:

The brown borders tone down the quilt, but the pinks add a little sparkle.  Hmmmm.   Decisions, decisions.  I’m not in a rush, so I’ll just let this incubate for a while.  At least I had fun fondling fabric today!
